Boitatá Wilderness Reborn

Boitatá: Wilderness Reborn é um Tower Defense Survival 2D com progressão lateral, inspirado em Kingdom: Two Crowns e no folclore brasileiro.

Durante o dia, o jogador controla o Boitatá para explorar o mapa, abençoar o totem para expandir a floresta e resgatar animais, que se tornam torres vivas responsáveis pela defesa do território. Cada animal possui funções específicas, criando diferentes estratégias de posicionamento e proteção.

À noite, ondas de invasores humanos atacam a floresta. O jogador deve usar o Boitatá, suas habilidades de fogo, e as defesas construídas para sobreviver aos ataques e impedir a destruição do ambiente.

O jogo combina gerenciamento de território, defesa estratégica e sobrevivência, onde cada decisão impacta diretamente o avanço da floresta ou sua devastação. O objetivo é proteger, recuperar e expandir a área natural sob o domínio do Boitatá.

O projeto está em desenvolvimento e participa da GameJam+ 10th Edition (2025/26), explorando temas ambientais do mundo real por meio de mitologia brasileira em domínio público.

Tutorial:

1. Use A e D para se mover pela floresta.
2. Quando a noite cair, humanos atacarão de ambos os lados. Utilize suas habilidades para enfrentá-los.
3. Interaja com animais e chame-os através do inventário.
4. Abençoe o totem para expandir o alcance da floresta.
5. Sobreviva aos dias e impeça que tudo seja destruído.

Boitatá: Wilderness Reborn is a 2D Tower Defense Survival game with side-scrolling progression, inspired by Kingdom: Two Crowns and Brazilian folklore.

During the day, the player controls Boitatá to explore the map, bless the totem to expand the forest, and rescue animals, which become living towers responsible for defending the territory. Each animal has unique roles, enabling different positioning and defense strategies.

At night, waves of human invaders attack the forest. The player must use Boitatá, its fire abilities, and the built defenses to survive the assaults and prevent environmental destruction.

The game blends territory management, strategic defense, and survival, where every decision directly impacts the forest’s growth or its devastation. The goal is to protect, restore, and expand the natural area under Boitatá’s domain.

The project is currently in development and is part of the GameJam+ 10th Edition (2025/26), exploring real-world environmental themes through Brazilian public-domain mythology.
